BEFORE/AFTER 43 POUND WEIGHT LOSS

I'm so excited to share with all of you my journey to be healthy! My journey to get healthy was honestly the best decision I could make for myself. I was so in a decline with my health mentally/physically I fell into depression, stopped socializing and mainly I stopped being myself. Finally, I had so much energy, less mood swings, better sleep, less cravings, better moods and healthier! My highest weight was 148 pounds, my after weight is 105 pounds. I have always had a petite body structure anyways and for my body to reach that amount of weight for 2 years was different.

MOTIVATION
Do you want to feel happy and accomplished?
The first step into driving yourself to motivation is SETTING ONE GOAL for the day that motivates you. Set goals that relate to the high priorities in your life. Without this type of focus, you can end up with far too many goals, leaving you too little time to devote to each one. Goal achievement requires commitment, so to maximize the likelihood of success, you need to feel a sense of urgency and have an "I must do this" attitude. When you don't have this, you risk putting off what you need to do to make the goal a reality. This in turn leaves you feeling disappointed and frustrated with yourself, both of which are de-motivating. It can make you end up in a very destructive "I can't do anything or be successful at anything" frame of mind. Being an optimist

CUT PROCESSED FOODS
EXAMPLE: Drinking diet soda and exercising isn't going to cut it!
Humans can't function correctly with the chemicals/toxins that are put into the food that society eats. What are the risks of being unhealthy? Being unhealthy can lead to a vast amount of poor health problems, such as; obesity, depression, anxiety, cancer, diabetes and the list goes on! When consuming foods that come from the grocery store, your body becomes used to the extra additives/preservatives. Learning to read the labels should be a must when shopping! If the ingredient can't be pronounced or if you can't understand it...don't by it. Why? Looking at the ingredients label will give you a good idea if that is a food that you want to eat. The Ingredients are listed in descending order of weight, for example, if sugar is listed within the first few ingredients, it will be a high sugar food. Don't rely on claims on the front of the packet which may be misleading obviously. The ingredients label will also have other contents in the food including additives and preservatives. Food additives are substances put into the food to preserve flavor or improve taste and appearance. Here are some other food additives on ingredients to look for: Aspartame: Sweetener in snacks, sweets, alcohol, desserts and diet foods. SIDE EFFECTS: Headaches, blindness and seizures. Benzoic Acid: Preservative in drinks, cereals and meat products. SIDE EFFECTS: Inhibits function of digestive enzymes.
Monosodium glutamate (MSG): Flavor enhancer. SIDE EFFECTS: Seizures, chest pains, headache and burning sensation of face. Sulfur and Dioxide: Preservative that causes bronchial problems. SIDE EFFECTS: hypotension (low blood pressure) and anaphylactic shock.

The nutritional information that is important to you will depend on your health goals but reading labels will save your life! Being healthy and staying active isn't just about shedding weight off to look thin, it's about naturally detoxifying the body from the harmful toxins and additives food products have with mostly anything with a label on it. When harmful toxins leave the body by cutting out all processed foods; the natural vitamins and minerals start to form back into the body to replenish the whole human anatomy system. When bad foods are cut out of the everyday lifestyle, the body starts to replenish itself with raw fruits/vegetables, oatmeal, almond milk also, replace water over any kind of sugary drinks.
I also juiced and ate raw fruits and vegetables to get the necessary intake of vitamins and minerals for the day. When I was in a month of juicing I had noticed from the juice intake  and it replenished my the taste buds! I started to crave natural and hearty vegetables and water! My taste buds started to crave water over sweet tea or soda!  Juicing has an enormous amount of impact by just consuming it. When ingesting juice from hearty vegetables and fruits, the body goes through certain detoxifying process; such as,  cravings disappear, the skin starts to replenish itself by having a natural dewy tint/moisture and the best thing of all your healthier!

EXERCISE:) Being outside to enjoy fresh air and sunshine always makes everyone happier.

It's not a "change in diet" expectation most people think of all that matters is that healthy lifestyle everyone deserves. (FYI, the information I share with you is my own personal opinions with what worked for my healthy lifestyle.)
