MANGO TANGO JUICE

Getting ready for summer time? This is a great, healthy and balanced juice recipe that will help with inflammation, bloating, energy and beauty minerals!

MANGO TANGO
1 Mango
1/2 Pineapple
2 Apple
2 Celery stalks
3 Handfuls Spinach
1/2 bunch of Parsley
2 Carrot
2 Cucumber

The healing properties of the MANGO works as a natural Antioxidant and helps reduce the risk of Cancer. When juicing Mango it has a vast amount of: Vitamin C, Potassium, Fiber and a good benefit of beta-carotene (Vitamin A).

Pineapple acts as an Anti-inflammatory, therefore if your having a sudden break out this solves the problem! When there's a cold coming on, this helps as a natural body booster jam-packed with vitamin C and manganese, and are a good source of thiamin, vitamin B6, and copper, as well as fiber when eaten.

Apples are a good source of vitamin C, and high in pectin and other fibers. Apples have some of the best origin of minerals for the body. Just drinking fresh apple juice cleanses the digestive tract to make weight shed off faster as well.

Celery assists  in correcting high blood pressure and also has compounds of reducing migraines.

Spinach helps nourish for a good complexion, in addition spinach has 14 times the iron per calorie than red meat.

Parsley is great for naturalizing body odor, energy booster and it's one of the highest sources of life-giving chlorophyll, which acts like iron to oxidize the blood.

Carrots have the beta-carotene present in the skin is a natural protector for the common skin cancer, melanoma. Research has shown this can also protect the skin from the damaging effects of the sun. As an added bonus, after a few weeks on a juice fast, your skin will feel velvety soft. This vegetable is a great addition for a natural sun-kissed glow for the beach this summer!

Cucumber is “the beauty mineral” its ability to improve skin, nails and hair. It is also to be known of rubbing cucumber slices on the eyes reduces eye puffiness and helps prevent water absorbing in that area.

BEFORE/AFTER 43 POUND WEIGHT LOSS

I'm so excited to share with all of you my journey to be healthy! My journey to get healthy was honestly the best decision I could make for myself. I was so in a decline with my health mentally/physically I fell into depression, stopped socializing and mainly I stopped being myself. Finally, I had so much energy, less mood swings, better sleep, less cravings, better moods and healthier! My highest weight was 148 pounds, my after weight is 105 pounds. I have always had a petite body structure anyways and for my body to reach that amount of weight for 2 years was different.

MOTIVATION
Do you want to feel happy and accomplished?
The first step into driving yourself to motivation is SETTING ONE GOAL for the day that motivates you. Set goals that relate to the high priorities in your life. Without this type of focus, you can end up with far too many goals, leaving you too little time to devote to each one. Goal achievement requires commitment, so to maximize the likelihood of success, you need to feel a sense of urgency and have an "I must do this" attitude. When you don't have this, you risk putting off what you need to do to make the goal a reality. This in turn leaves you feeling disappointed and frustrated with yourself, both of which are de-motivating. It can make you end up in a very destructive "I can't do anything or be successful at anything" frame of mind. Being an optimist

CUT PROCESSED FOODS
EXAMPLE: Drinking diet soda and exercising isn't going to cut it!
Humans can't function correctly with the chemicals/toxins that are put into the food that society eats. What are the risks of being unhealthy? Being unhealthy can lead to a vast amount of poor health problems, such as; obesity, depression, anxiety, cancer, diabetes and the list goes on! When consuming foods that come from the grocery store, your body becomes used to the extra additives/preservatives. Learning to read the labels should be a must when shopping! If the ingredient can't be pronounced or if you can't understand it...don't by it. Why? Looking at the ingredients label will give you a good idea if that is a food that you want to eat. The Ingredients are listed in descending order of weight, for example, if sugar is listed within the first few ingredients, it will be a high sugar food. Don't rely on claims on the front of the packet which may be misleading obviously. The ingredients label will also have other contents in the food including additives and preservatives. Food additives are substances put into the food to preserve flavor or improve taste and appearance. Here are some other food additives on ingredients to look for: Aspartame: Sweetener in snacks, sweets, alcohol, desserts and diet foods. SIDE EFFECTS: Headaches, blindness and seizures. Benzoic Acid: Preservative in drinks, cereals and meat products. SIDE EFFECTS: Inhibits function of digestive enzymes.
Monosodium glutamate (MSG): Flavor enhancer. SIDE EFFECTS: Seizures, chest pains, headache and burning sensation of face. Sulfur and Dioxide: Preservative that causes bronchial problems. SIDE EFFECTS: hypotension (low blood pressure) and anaphylactic shock.

The nutritional information that is important to you will depend on your health goals but reading labels will save your life! Being healthy and staying active isn't just about shedding weight off to look thin, it's about naturally detoxifying the body from the harmful toxins and additives food products have with mostly anything with a label on it. When harmful toxins leave the body by cutting out all processed foods; the natural vitamins and minerals start to form back into the body to replenish the whole human anatomy system. When bad foods are cut out of the everyday lifestyle, the body starts to replenish itself with raw fruits/vegetables, oatmeal, almond milk also, replace water over any kind of sugary drinks.
I also juiced and ate raw fruits and vegetables to get the necessary intake of vitamins and minerals for the day. When I was in a month of juicing I had noticed from the juice intake  and it replenished my the taste buds! I started to crave natural and hearty vegetables and water! My taste buds started to crave water over sweet tea or soda!  Juicing has an enormous amount of impact by just consuming it. When ingesting juice from hearty vegetables and fruits, the body goes through certain detoxifying process; such as,  cravings disappear, the skin starts to replenish itself by having a natural dewy tint/moisture and the best thing of all your healthier!

EXERCISE:) Being outside to enjoy fresh air and sunshine always makes everyone happier.

It's not a "change in diet" expectation most people think of all that matters is that healthy lifestyle everyone deserves. (FYI, the information I share with you is my own personal opinions with what worked for my healthy lifestyle.)

Hello:)

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog!

This blog is basically a journey to living a healthy lifestyle, travel and just living a happy life with staying active. Living near Panama City Beach, FL, one of the top hot spots for spring/summer breaks in the US, has it's advantages during summertime. We love to go to the beach and be beach bums! We always have the travel bug! It doesn't matter where, as long as we are together we are happy:)

We love to cook new healthy and exciting dishes. As we cook amazing, satisfying yet healthy food, we read by educating ourselves in the best possible way to discover new healthy alternatives to not "dive-in" to all of the delicious Southern Food down south. By not eating heavy meals, contributing fresh fruits/vegetables, getting fresh air daily and of coarse fresh juice had an impact on our weight-loss. Just by doing those things, we lost a good amount of weight by just portion sizing meals, looking at ingredients on packaging.

My husband and I have been together for 7 years, we got married on September 27th, 2012. It was a very short, but sweet wedding ceremony in a secret garden! For our honeymoon we went to Asheville, NC and fell in love with the people and the town. We met on a blind date and been together since we were teenagers. Having that ability to meet your love at first sight was the best thing I could ask for. It has definitely been a learning process for us. We have had ups and downs like any other couple, but we both know at the end of the day, we always have each other.

A few things about us is that we always love to travel, be with mother nature while enjoying each other's company and cooking healthy satisfying meals. We find it something we cherish so much in our lifestyle. So, I wanted to ask y'all how do I get started into making a successful blog? So please post and share as I experience the world with my soul mate, eat delicious food and see what we are all about.
